Sean Harrington is a sophomore currently studying Nonprofit Management and Leadership with a minor in Education Policy in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). A member of the bicentennial class of 2020, Sean served on the Briscoe Quadrangle Conduct Board during his freshman year while he lived in the Civic Leaders Living Learning Center. Sean is active in the A-Team, the organization of on campus tour guides that provide tours, presentations, and special events for perspective and incoming IU students. He is also a member of the Jacobs School of Music All-Campus Band as a trombone player.
Harrington is a 2015 graduate of Tri-County High School, and originally from Remington, Indiana. In high school, he was active in Marching Band, Cross Country, Track, FFA, and served as president of the Indiana Association of Business Professionals of America. After high school, Sean took a gap year to serve as the Indiana FFA State Treasurer where he traveled the state serving as an ambassador for Agricultural Education to students, teachers, businesses, and government leaders. Sean hopes to one day put his passion for education to use as a consultant for Career and Technical Student Organizations.
