Sabrina Gowda, class of 2018, is a senior at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Sabrina Gowda is a SPEA honors student and a member of the Hutton Honors College. She is double majoring in Public Financial Management and Environmental Management with a minor in Business. She is currently a standing board member of IU Funding Board, which allocates funding to undergraduate and graduate organizations across IU’s campus. She is also the Associate Director of Raas Royalty, a student organization which strives to share and celebrate Indian culture and hosts IU’s biggest intercollegiate dance competition. Sabrina has also interned for the IU Office of Sustainability as a green teams coordinator, with the focus of improving faculty sustainability operations on campus. Her experience outside of IU includes an internship with the Hoosier Hills food bank as a development team intern. As well as a corporate finance internship with Shire, a global biotechnology company working with their global commercial hematology and immunology finance teams. Sabrina has also studied abroad in London and hopes to go back and travel more throughout Europe. Sabrina enjoys hiking, kayaking and indulging in countless hours of TV.
