Apply to Student Rights

Interested in defending the rights of students?

If you are interested in getting involved with a service-oriented branch of student government which provides flexibility in terms of time commitment, IUSA Student Rights may be a good fit. IUSASR is now accepting Case Manager applications.

Student Rights is a student-led department within IUSA with the mission of advocating for and protecting the rights of students on our campus. We primarily accomplish this goal by working with individual students and student groups who have been accused of academic or personal misconduct.

Please note that, like most student government members, Student Rights staff are not compensated.  Please also note that the application process is highly competitive, as we typically receive many applications for a limited number of vacancies. We are currently looking to recruit a small number of staff to begin training immediately in the Spring semester.

To apply, review the position description linked to above and complete the associated application on or before February 24, 2017Questions are welcome and should be directed to Bryce Bennett, Director of IUSA Student Rights, at
