Chief of Marketing and Communications
D’Angelo is a senior from Chicago, IL currently pursuing majors in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science as well as a minor in African American Studies. With the combination of these threes, D’Angelo aspires to spend some time in some Newsrooms after graduation, helping them become more diverse and more tech savvy in the ever-changing digital landscape. D’Angelo has a strong value for education and sharing the correct information with the public. This year for IUSA, D’Angelo will look to promote and publish all policies created by IUSA, as well as press the IU Administration for answers that the Student Body are looking for.
Outside of IUSA, D’Angelo looks for ways to expand his platform for himself and others so, underrepresented voices can be heard. He does by taking advantage of some great opportunities at Indiana University. He serves on multiple exec boards, News Director for WIUX, Treasurer of NABJ, and member of the Media School Student Advisory Committee. With these positions D’Angelo has been able to build great relationships with both students and administrators thus, furthering the interaction between the two groups have.
D’Angelo will be vigilant and committed while serving as the Chief of Communications and Marketing. He will ensure the message of IUSA gets out and the voices of the Student Body are heard.
